About Us
Our Journey of Faith
In January of 2025 we concluded 40-plus years of pastoral ministry, resigning as Lead Pastors of the congregation we had served for almost 13 years. As we sought the Lord about this season of change, the Lord began to speak to Lyle’s heart about some things spoken to him many years prior. In the Spring of 1984, in his last semester of Bible College, Lyle had an encounter with Holy Spirit where “missions ministry” and other nations were impressed upon his heart in the way that never left him. After we married in 1986, we had conversations about believing God was calling us to be more intentional about ministry in other nations at a later point in life when the children were grown.
Through the years we have had the opportunity to travel and minister in other nations, and we have championed the cause of missions in the local church. We lived in Canada in the 1990’s where Lyle served on the staff of a Bible College with students from various nations. We led a touring ministry team across Canada and the U.S. every summer. In the local church through the years, we’ve had opportunity to visit and minister in Mexico, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Brazil, Israel and the Philippines.
We have formed this non-profit ministry named “Resonate Ministries Global” to facilitate future ministry both in the U.S. and other nations, partnering with local leaders and churches where God opens doors for ministry. In this first year we had the privilege of ministering in Washington, Oregon, California, Colorado and Missouri. Lyle also led a ministry team to Santiago, Chile in late summer.
We appreciate the prayers and support of those that are willing to partner with us in this season of life and ministry.

Why The Name?
Definitions of “Resonate”:
-
to make, hear, or even understand a deep, full sound.
-
To evoke a feeling of shared emotion or belief.
-
To correspond closely or harmoniously.

Lyle's ministry gift mix includes worship music, teaching, and preaching as well as prophetic ministry. These gifts all have in common the act of releasing a sound. I call it the "sound of heaven". Delores' gifts include teaching, mercy and encouragement.
When Jesus taught His disciples to pray "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done..." I believe one facet of that instruction is simply to release sounds on earth that are heard in heaven. Heaven is a place of worship as we see in The Book of Revelation and other passages. When we declare God's words and promises we are declaring something that already exists in heaven.

We are called to release worship and praise to God, to proclaim His Word, to declare His promises and to strengthen and encourage through prophetic ministry as the Holy Spirit enables us.

We added the word "Global" because of God's call to many nations, not just the nation of our birth.
